Macalloy’s Post Tensioning and Concrete Engineering range covers two main products. The original Macalloy bars, Macalloys 1030 Post Tensioning Bar and a high strength stainless steel re-inforcement bar, Macalloy 650.

Applications and uses.
Concrete pre-and post tensioning – The Macalloy 1030 bar is regularaly used in pre and post tensioning to provide additional strength and support for concrete structures.
Anchor Bolts – The Macalloy 1030 bar is used as a high strength anchor bolt to hold down structures such as bridge arches, temporary supports, crane anchors and steel column anchors.
Temporary Bridge Works and bridge strengthening – Macalloy Post Tensioning bar is often used in temporary bridge works such as segmental bridge construction and in bridge strengthening schemes to provide additional support to existing structures.

Concrete re-enforcement – The Macalloy 650 Stainless steel bar is used in applications where a stainless steel bar is required for its corrosion resistance properties in concrete re-inforcement.
