The existing airport will be replaced in late 2011 or early 2012 when the first phase of New Doha International Airport is expected to open.

Macalloy has supplied the following:

Phase 1

  • 630 grade stainless steel 16mm bar tendons.
  • 12mm & 16mm stainless steel cable tendons.

Phase 1 Expansion

  • 630 grade stainless steel 16mm bar tendons.
  • 12mm & 16mm stainless steel cable tendons.

Phase 2

  • 520 grade stainless steel M24 bar tendons.
