Macalloy to supply new crossing between Ballina and Killaloe, Ireland – 30/01/2009

As momentum builds in the construction of the new crossing between Ballina and Killaloe, Macalloy are to supply two phases of the new bridge, which will span a total distance of 170 metres.
The first phase will see Macalloy S1030 and Macalloy 1030 supplied into the ground engineering works, followed by the supply of Macalloy S460 tendons, with a twin gusset plate creating an articulate joint, thus allowing movement of the bridge deck.
