Macalloy achieves Queen’s Award 2010 for International Trade – 23/04/2010

Macalloy has been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for International Trade 2010 on the Queen's Birthday. This is the second time we have received this award, the first time was in 1996 for export achievement. This latest award was credited to the company after demonstrating "continuous achievement in international trade over six years" .
The awards winners are chosen each year on advice of the Prime Minister who is advised by a committee, which includes representatives of Government, industry and commerce and trade unions.
Over the last 6 years Macalloy has supplied to many prestigious international projects, including Dubai Metro UAE, Dubai International Airport T3 UAE, Arena Zagreb Croatia, Alicante Airport T2 Spain, Messehalle 11 Frankfurt Germany, Mbombela Stadium Nelspruit South Africa, Soccer City Stadium Johannesburg South Africa and Queen Victoria Building Sydney Australia.
Macalloy is one of only 143 companies recognised by the Queens Awards this year with 15 going to companies in Yorkshire and only 5 in South Yorkshire.
We are also delighted to receive the award from the Lord Lieutenant on behalf of HM The Queen.
