The new Star Lane DLR station was recently supplied with Macalloy 460 tie-rods in M20 and M42 diameter. The station will become a new Docklands Light Railway station in Newham, East London. This extension of the Docklands Light Railway, covers part of the North London Line, between Stratford and Woolwich. This extension is in anticipation of the 2012 Olympic Games, which London is hosting, and is part of the regeneration in this region of East London. The construction of the station is due to be completed in 2010.
