Macalloy Formwork Tierod

Its standard profile permits conventional fittings to be used. Macalloy have available a wide range of specialist fittings as well as the forged steel fittings.

For a number of years Macalloy has supplied many of the world's distributors with shutter ties, in the UK we now offer this product direct in to the market place.

The Macalloy Formwork Tierod system consists of a high yield bar with deformations especially designed to form a thread along the entire length of the bar, allowing the bar to be cut to the required length on site and still support an anchorage where ever it is required

Macalloy Formwork Tierod is compatible with all the current shutter tie bar accessories. In common with most shutter ties Macalloy Formwork Tierod is not weldable, however we can supply to special order the Macalloy weldable shutter tie.

Macalloy Tierod is available in diameters 15mm and 20mm and by special request to 26.5mm (not available in weldable form). Standard bars are available in lengths to 7.5 metres, but should a site require longer lengths, up to 15 metres can be supplied to special order.
