Macalloy S650 Fully Threaded Bar system in 304 and 316 Stainless

A product within the Macalloy range which has been developed to meet the increasing demands in the Construction Industry for materials requiring better corrosion resistance.

Macalloy S650 is a high strength Stainless Steel fully threaded bar in grades 304 and 316.

Grade 304 Stainless Steel is normally used in less corrosive environments and is adequate for most applications. Grade 316 has added Molybdenum enabling it to be used in more highly corrosive environments, for example, where this material may come into contact with seawater.

The system has a guaranteed yield stress of 650 N/mm². The thread is a cold rolled thread, similar to the standard Macalloy Pre-stressing bar. Standard lengths are 6m. Full strength couplers are available for longer lengths. The fully threaded bar has advantages over end threaded systems in that it can be cut to the precise length on site.

The Macalloy 650 Stainless is available from stock in diameters 16mm to 24mm. Other sizes are available by request. Also available within the Macalloy 650 Stainless range are dished plates washers, pattress plates, lantern spacers, and hemispherical load nuts.
