Designed by architect Richard Rogers, 88 Wood Street is a fine modern day example of facade engineering.

Constructed between 1993 and 2001, external twin 72mm diameter Macalloy cross bracing bar tendons were supplied with tensioning achieved through the use of the patented Macalloy TechnoTensioner. In addition, Macalloy Architectural Compression Struts were anchoraged to plates bolted to the ground, providing this office tower with additional stability.
