One of the tallest buildings in the United Arab Emirates is the Burj Al Arab Hotel; with construction taking 5 years at a cost of $650million this building has become an iconic structure of Dubai's urban transformation.
Its foundations are post tensioned using 75mm Dia Macalloy 1030 bars. The world’s tallest atrium has a fabric membrane wall, which utilises Macalloy 460 Architectural system to maintain tension.
