Approximately 400 Macalloy 460 bar tendons in diameters M48 and M64 are used as the suspension system to the roof structure. Additional M20 bar tendons were also supplied for the lighting masts, in total 100 tonnes of steel was supplied by Macalloy.
Macalloy Architectural Compression Struts M76 were also used where the stadium roof rests indirectly on the roof of the technical building and is first time that this new product has been used on a polish project.
Macalloy distributor BBR Polska carried out training in the installation of the tendons on the construction site in Lubin, and follow up with a continuous supervision of the respective works for two weeks.
The Dialog Arena will have a capacity to host 16,000 spectators.
