Macalloy tie rods are used as cross bracing to support the steel shell structure of many of Dubai Metro’s stations.
Many of the stations on the red and green line have a similar, modern appearance using a curved steel frame structure. Macalloy tension bars provide a lightweight, architectural solution for the wind bracing of these elements.
