The Estádio da Luz is the home of Sport Lisboa e Benfica and was rebuilt to host many of the matches including the final of UEFA's Euro 2004 tournament.
The Macalloy 1030 post tensioning bar was chosen to connect the steel arches to the supporting concrete structure.
Capacity of the new stadium is 65,400.
