KL8 Footbridge, near Poznań

The KL8 footbridge is a situated over the S3 national road. The inclined arch girder and slightly curved deck are fastened with tendons, presenting a well balanced yet forceful shape, with a 40m main span.
The General Contractor SKANSKA S.A. entrusted Macalloy agent BBR Polska with the supply and installation of Macalloy 460 M30 bar tendons to suspend the deck. Macalloy 1030 M35 prestressing bars was used to fix the steel struts of the deck in the reinforced concrete supports.
The footbridge was completed in 2007
