Korean World Trade Centre Foyer
Year of Completion 2004
The glass wall in the Korean World trade centre foyer is another fine example of Macalloys innovation and problem solving experience, enabling the construction of what is believed to be the world’s tallest structural glass wall.
Constructed using Macalloy stainless Steel architectural system, the support structure consists of stainless steel cable catenary trusses with cruciform struts. This project has many ground breaking features, such as the use of structural laser welding and a tensioning system cable of accommodating 50 degrees of thermal movement on 32m of glass.
