Year of Completion 2010

Chosen to host several matches for the FIFA World Cup 2010. The signature feature of the stadium are the 18 roof supports which are supplied with Macalloy 460 M76 and M85 tendons. Each roof support resembles a giraffe, this design consideration is quite apt as the stadium is located near the Kruger National Park. Macalloy are also proud to have supplied the Soccer City Stadium, the centre piece for the World Cup final in Johannesburg.
