Year of Completion 2000

by Admin last modified Wed, 12 Aug 2009

Opened in June 2000 the London Millenium Bridge was the first new bridge to be built since the tower bridge in 1894.

For pedestrian use only, this 325m steel suspension bridge, provides a link between the St.Paul's Catherdral and the Tate Modern gallery.

Macalloy 460 tendons were used as anchors, whilst Macalloy 1030 was used as holding down bolts for the steel bridge pier to the concrete pillars.
