Built in June 2003 to deal with huge increase in passenger traffic, Macalloy are proud with the company's involvement in the construction of terminal 2. Which as result enabled Munich airport to accommodated over 30 million passengers in 2006.

Tension structures used in Glass Roof.

  • A range of Macalloy 460 tendons from 30mm to 90mm diameter support 90m wide glass and membrane roof.
  • The main ties up to 30 metres long was tensioned using the Macalloy techno tensioner, accurately stressing the bars to the design.
