The position of the bridge between the city centre and the open lake is unique, and requires a clear yet transparent structure to define an urban space which preserves open views from the city over the water.
The bridge, designed by COWI, is a six-span cable stayed bridge with a concrete deck, the main bearing system consisted of Macalloy 460 tie rods in diameters M85, M90 and M100, used as horizonal and bridge deck stays.
