Navia River Viaduct, Asturias

Inaugurated in June 2006, the Navia River Viaduct is made up of 2 x 160m central spans held up by 2 arches built on a prestressed desk. The arches consist of a metallic box filled with concrete; their anchorages are connected to the desk using 84 x 40 dia Macalloy 835 x 1030 pre-stressing bars. BBR PTE in Spain carried out the inspection and stressing.
