Macalloy Architectural Tension Bars and Cables Used on Slovakian Arena

Macalloy Architectural Tension Bars were used for the glass canopy structure at the stadium entrance, and the Macalloy TechnoTensioner was also used on site for the Tension Bars.

The Multifunction Sport Arena Poprad, which is based in Slovakia, has a large glass canopy structure over the front entrance which is suspended through a stayed structure using Macalloy tension bars and stainless cables.

On-site stressing of the bars and cables was undertaken by Macalloys partner for Czech Republic and Slovakia, Tension Structures s.r.o, using Macalloys unique tensioning device, the Techno-Tensioner.

The building was named Slovakian building on the year when constructed.
