Niagra Falls airport has a long standing history and this joint military/public service airport used a series of Macalloy tie rods / tension bars were used to create the lightweight roof structure it has today. The products supplied by Macalloy were integral to the airport design.

Macalloy tie rods support the lightweight roof structure at Niagra Falls International airport in USA. The roof is supported by a series of painted Macalloy tension bars tied back to central columns allowing for a lightweight, large span roof. The roof is also designed to reflect the flow of the Niagra Falls rapids.
