After several years under construction the new Scottish Parliament designed by architect Enric Miralles was certainly worth the wait.
Unlike the Westminster the debating chamber of the Scottish Parliament has seating arranged in the semi circle with total of 131 seats. Using S460 in M20 with stainless couplers supplied, Macalloy bars supported several timber roof trusses within the debating chamber. In addition fully thread Macalloy 1030 in M36 was supplied in lengths ranging from 7 to 5 metres completed with nut, wash and plate.
