Designed by architect Enric Miralles, the new Scottich Parliament was certainly worth the wait.
Unlike Westminster, the debating chamber of the Scottish Parliament has seating arranged in the semi circle with total of 131 seats. Macalloy S460 M20 tie rods support several timber roof trusses within the debating chamber. In addition, fully threaded Macalloy 1030 in M36 was also supplied to the concrete foundation, complete with nut, plate and washer.
