Macalloy tie bars are used in the Gibson Hotel in Point Village, Dublin, Ireland. The Macalloy tension bars are used as architectural bracing with the Macalloy fork end exposed as a feature.
Stainless steel tendons were used to provide an elegant steel and wood finish.
