The new state of the art Victoria Terminal (VT4) and docking facilities was supplied with large diameter Macalloy 17MHS tie rods, with additional factory wrapped Denso Tape & Denso PVC with 55% overlaps providing an effective corrosion protection system. Each tie rod complete with nut, washer and an anchorage plate provided an anchorage for tubular piled anchor walls.
Approximately 300 tie rods was supplied in diameters M105, M100, M90 & M76, installation commenced between Spring and Winter, 2007.
