Messehalle 11, Frankfurt
As one of the largest trade hall centres in the world, the size of this glulam roof structure is 22,000 - sqm. Each roof section spans 78m and is supported by Macalloy 520 crossing bracing. MesseHalle 11 will provide both innovative functionality and superlative aesthetics.
Munich Airport Centre
The Munich Airport Centre was built as a shopping, business and recreation area that connects both terminals 1 and 2 together. Using Macalloy 460 in diameters ranging from M30-M100, Macalloy tendons were used to support and hold down the roof canopy, with each tendon been tensioned using the Macalloy TechnoTensioner.
Munich Airport, Terminal 2
Built in June 2003 to deal with huge increase in passenger traffic, Macalloy are proud with the company's involvement in the construction of terminal 2. Which as result enabled Munich airport to accommodated over 30 million passengers in 2006.
Olympiastadion, Berlin
Steeped in history, the Olympiastadion began renovation in 2000, which would enable the stadium to host 6 matches throughout the 2006 World Cup.
Rhein-Neckar Arena, Sinnsheim
Built to host 1899 Hoffenheim footbal matches, Macalloy 460 tendons with central connection discs are used as cross bracing within the roof structure. The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 people and will host international matches at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.
