Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Year of completion  1996

Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, (designed by Cesar Pelli) holds the record for being the worlds tallest twin towers. The landmark towers feature a Sky bridge — the world's highest two storey bridge that connects the towers. This innovative bridge is not attached to the main structure, but is designed to slide in and out of the towers to prevent it from breaking during high winds.

Macalloy’s 1030 Post Tensioning Bars and M460 Fork ends (on the custom made compression struts) have been used to help support the bridge, while Macalloy 460 has on the canopies at the base of the towers.
