Tension Bars and Compression Struts in Pedestrian Walkway in Stony Brook University; New York, USA



A collection of Tension Bars, Tie Rods and Architectural Compression Struts were used within the Pedestrian Walkway of Stony Brook University in New York.

Macalloy Tension Bars were used as bracing elements throughout this New York University steel structure. An elevated pedestrian walkway had Macalloy Tie Rods for the bracing and used the adjustable Macalloy Architectural Compression Struts for the upright compression members.
