Macalloy Architectural Tension Bars Support Façade at Canadian Airport

The Macalloy Architectural Tie Bars / Tension Rods were used extensively within the facade for the Airport, and were integral in enduring the sound support for the airport facade. The products supplied by Macalloy were integral to the airport design.

Macalloy tie bars are used in the façade at the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport in Canada.

The Macalloy tension bars are used to provide minimalist structural support for the glass façade wall.

The work was part of an airport expansion allowing the airport to handle 1.2 million passengers per year.
